- The name Wetterhaus can be traced back to Laurenz Wetter, the builder of the so called "Wetterhaus" in Herisau in Appenzell (Switzerland). Laurenz Wetter built the by now oldest building in Herisau in the 17th century. As "Landmann" (minister president for Appenzell Ausserrhoden) he stood for economic progress and innovation. In the 19th century, the Wetterhaus was the founding place for the bank Thorbecke.
History
Five partners from Germany and Swizerland developed the idea in 1999 of forming a competitive international consulting organisation. Based on this idea, the WetterhausGroup was created with headquaters in Swizerland and named after the building in which the cooperation was based.
Focus of the business activities was especially on venture capital and private capital as well as the advising support of commercial finance and corporate transactions. These activities have been complemented by targeted measures to correct image positioning of projects and companies.
The WetterhausGroup has established itself quickly in its business environment. It achieved international attention through successful transactions in various fields.
With the establishement of WetterhausConsult in 2003, the business activities were expanded so that all necessary consulting and brokerage services could be offered to real estate investors and medium sized companies.
Cosequently in 2010 the transformation into the WetterhausConcept GmbH took place. Herewith, the highlight was set more obvioulsy to the conceptual approach of our services and the services are more transparent for our clients.
The team of WetterhausConcept GmbH under the direction of Alexander Kahle has decades of experience in advising and supporting small and medium sized businesses.
